ROMBO Open Call
Privacy notice
Who is responsible
ROMBO Magazine runs ROMBO Open Call (opencall.rombomagazine.com). For anything about your data, write to info@rombomagazine.com.
What we keep
Your account: your email address, and if you give them your name, who you are (artist, manager, label, PR), whether you want our newsletter, when you accepted this notice and when you last signed in.
Your artists and releases: names, bios, places, genres, links, the music you upload or link to, lyrics, photos, covers, pitches and press releases, and which of a call’s social links you opened.
Your share link: how many different people opened it and how many artists sent music through it. We count people by a one-way code made from their internet address and browser; the address itself is never stored.
Why
To let you send music and follow it, to listen to it and answer you, and, if your release is selected, to write about it and share it on ROMBO Magazine and our social channels with the material you sent. If you ask for it, to send you our monthly newsletter.
Who sees it
ROMBO’s editors. Your files are never published as public links: only a release we select is written about, with the photos you sent.
Hostinger keeps our servers and sends our emails, in the European Union.
If you use the press release helper, your answers, bio and release details are sent to DeepSeek, the AI service that writes the first draft. Do not use the helper if you prefer they stay with us.
Mailchimp sends the newsletter, only if you asked for it.
How long
MP3s of releases we do not select are deleted 60 days after our answer. Your account, artists and submissions stay until you ask us to delete them: write to info@rombomagazine.com from the address of your account and we delete them within 30 days, except for articles already published.
Cookies
Two small cookies and nothing else: one keeps you signed in (60 days), one remembers for 30 days whose share link brought you here. No analytics or advertising cookies run on this site.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, and object to its use, at info@rombomagazine.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Switzerland the FDPIC, in the European Union the authority of your country).
